FUNCTIONING
Machine suitable for closing glass containers by means of press-on PLASTIC COVERS.
MANUFACTURING FEATURES
Basement in thick AISI 304 stainless steel plate with height adjustable feet.
Conveyor belt with AISI 304 stainless steel table-top chain mounted on an antifriction section with adjustable side guides; driving by gear motor.
Side belts for containers’ dragging and steadiness.
Cover releasing group by flat belts.
Steam sprigging unit for steam injection to take the air away from the container head space for vacuum formation inside the container after capping (if not needed this group is not mounted).
Cover application group by flat belts.
(The covers releasing group and the application group by pressure are adjustable independently by hand-wheels simply and rapidly, as regards also to the dragging belts).
Dragging and closing belts central driving by gear motor.
Head lifting system ad through an electro-mechanical unit with max. and min. automatic safety devices for the adjustment of the head height according to the containers to be treated.
Automatic covers feeder equipped with hopper which, by means of guides, orientates and conveys the covers to the releasing group to be picked up by the containers.
PLASTIC COVERS FEEDING SYSTEM including:
Elevator conveyor in AISI 304 stainless steel fitted with 300 lt hopper with safety micro switches on the lid, elevator with direct extraction from the hopper, PVC belt as per FDA norms with vulcanized laths and direct extraction from the hopper, belt transparent cover in transparent lexan.
Inclined mechanical orientation system for plastic covers composed by containment band diam. 1000 mm in AISI 304 stainless steel, stainless-steel rotating disc with cells and divided into 4 sectors and powered by clutch, flow adjusters with pressure gauges, connecting brackets, transparent lexan cover with loading mouth; steel bend for covers overturning, photocell for automatic loading control.
AISI 304 stainless steel support structure which allows a discharge height to be defined with regulation of +/- 100 mm by means of a telescopic screw jack.
Control system managing the machine according to the covers flow into the feeder.
Orientation: downward concavity.
Electric control board in stainless steel.
