Are necessary consumables in case of thermal transfer printers, which implies a high standard protection of the printing head. This protection is achieved by using thermal transfer ribbons and also by using an additional layer of protection.

If you decide to use thermal transfer ribbons of low quality you will reduce the duration of use of the thermal printing head.

We can supply a large pool size of ribbons, starting from the width of 9 mm to 150 mm, with lengths up to 450m. They are available in a range of grades and colours, as well as a range of widths and lengths. Our products are formulated to provide excellent print quality for a wide variety of substrattes and printing speeds. End user properties include resistance to heat, smudge, scratch, chemical and light to ensure that the codes remain legible (and machine readable) thoughout their lifetime. Using our ribbons will also maximise printhead life.

Ribbons are available in 3 compositions: Wax  Wax/Resin and Resin.  All ribbons are constructed from a common, high strength carrier which minimises ribbon breaks and a common low-friction back coating which increases printhead life by minimising printhead wear and static build-up. Thermal transfer ribbons are suitable for printing onto a wide range of flexible materials including plastics, coated aluminium, carton, paper, labels, and tyvek.
